Precision Geiger Counter,
This versatile instrument provides all the features needed in a Geiger Counter.
The six-digit front panel display shows count rate.
Several modes of operation are selected via a front panel push button.
In the fixed count mode, the instrument will count up to a preset number of counts, then divide the counts by the time period and display the result, a result with a fixed statistical accuracy.
Measurement times are unlimited, so it is possible to measure background or natural low-level sources with high precision.
In the "Volts" mode, the digital readout display shows the tube voltage.
The Precision Geiger Counter puts out a computer-compatible signal, which permits data logging with a computer.
The instrument connects to a serial port and sends each measured count rate to the computer.
The full software for recording and computing Geiger Counter data is included.
